Treat a jam as a decision point
A jam matters because ammunition, time and position are already constrained. Before contact, decide whether the response is to create distance, change weapon, use cover, disengage or rely on a different tactical system. Exact clearing controls and durability interactions must be checked in the live build.
Reliability coverage
The Expedition Planner separates ammunition, backup weapon and reliability plans. That separation avoids calling a large ammunition reserve sufficient when a weapon cannot fire, and avoids calling a backup sufficient when the route itself has no exit plan.
- Do not base the expedition on one uninterrupted firearm.
- Protect a return route before committing scarce ammunition.
- Recheck live controls and repair behavior after Early Access unlocks.

Numbers this guide will not invent
Jam rate, condition thresholds, repair values, reliability tiers and attachment effects stay absent until a current source supports them. A precise-looking number without evidence is worse than an honest planning boundary.
